Introduction to the water sports venue: This has been called the largest and most advanced water training and competition venue in the Far East by the Asian Rowing Federation. Located in the northeast of Dianshan Lake, it was built in 1982 according to international competition standards. There are trees on both sides of the embankment. The site has 10 hectares of land area and 50 hectares of water area. The 7-meter-wide cement road in the center of the embankment can be used for marathon, walking, cycling and other sports training and small competitions. The main channel of the water sports ground is a rowing and kayaking training ground. On the car side of the main channel is an auxiliary channel that is 60 meters wide and 850 meters long. It is connected to the main channel by two 8-meter-wide bridges and is used for pre-race training. On the south side is a 5,500-square-meter water dock that can berth more than 200 sailboats of various types. There are also 28 individual projects including land gyms, paddling training rooms, restaurants, athletes' living buildings, and guest houses, as well as basketball courts, tennis courts, and standard track and field fields.
