Introduction to the Gu Weijun Memorial Hall: The Gu Weijun Memorial Hall is located in the courtyard of the Fahua Pagoda. It displays Gu Weijun’s life story and some of the items he used during his lifetime. Gu Weijun (1888-1985), a famous diplomat from Jiading, one of the founders of the United Nations, served as Minister-General of Foreign Affairs and Finance of the Republic of China, and Acting Prime Minister of the Beiyang Government. In 1919, as a member of the Chinese government's delegation to the Paris Peace Conference, he refused to sign the Paris Peace Treaty.
