Introduction to Henan Road Bridge: Henan Road Bridge is 111.5 meters long and 29 meters wide. It is a 5-hole arched continuous beam bridge and is an important landscape bridge on the Suzhou River. To the north of the bridge is Henan North Road in Hongkou District, and to the south of the bridge is Henan Middle Road in Huangpu District. Henan Road Bridge is also called Sanferry Bridge. In 1843, a ferry crossing was set up here, known as the "Three Ferry Bridges". In 1885, a 62-meter-long camel-shaped six-hole wooden bridge, the "Three Ferry Bridges", was built here. In 1925, it was rebuilt into the current reinforced concrete bridge. The balanced fin-type suspension bridge is 64.5 meters long, 18 meters wide, has 3 holes, and has a load capacity of 15 tons. Because there is Thean Hou Palace built under the bridge, it is also called "Thean Hou Palace Bridge". In June 2006, the old Henan Road Bridge began to be demolished and rebuilt. It was completed and opened to traffic on January 19, 2009. The bridge was widened from the original four lanes to six lanes.
