Introduction to the British Consulate: The British Consulate is the earliest existing Western building in the Bund area. It was built in 1873 and belongs to the British Renaissance architectural style. The entire building has a square appearance, with column balconies around it. The roof is sloped and has Chinese butterfly tiles. The building is surrounded by lush trees and wide lawns, making it appear more elegant and noble. The British Consulate has been converted into office spaces such as the Second General Office of the Shanghai Municipal Government, Shanghai Foreign Trade Commission, and China International Travel Service Shanghai Branch. It is now transformed into "One Bund Source".
