Introduction to Shili Canyon: The canyon in the primeval forest is like a chain of hanging springs, which is ten miles long, with high silver waterfalls and abrupt boulders; it is also accompanied by rapids, stone beaches, green pools, overlapping water, and secluded streams, or quietly flowing. Or singing joyfully; or singing loudly. The waterscape is connected with movement and stillness, with both sounds and colors.
