Introduction to Wang Jianhong’s former residence: The Wang Family Courtyard is located on the bank of Jiuqiao Creek. It is the former residence of Mrs. Qu Qiubai, Ms. Wang Jianhong, and is now the town government. Wang Jianhong is a native of Longtan and a close friend of the famous writer Ding Ling at Shanghai University. She promoted scientific socialism and devoted herself to women's liberation throughout her life. She is a woman who must be mentioned in the history of the early women's movement of the Communist Party of China. In the summer of 1923, she and Ding Ling met Qu Qiubai, who had just returned from the Soviet Union. Because the two had similar interests, they got married in the winter of the same year. The following year, Wang Jianhong died of lung disease in Shanghai at the age of 23.
