Introduction to Nan'an Private School: The former site of Nan'an Private School is located to the west of Comrade Mao Zedong's former residence. It was built in the Qing Dynasty. It has blue bricks and tiles, white walls, and a construction area of nearly 400 square meters. It was originally the public property of the ancestral hall of the surname Zou, and a private school was once located on the right side. Mao Zedong was enlightened here in 1901 when he was eight years old and studied for two years. The private school teacher Zou Chunpei first taught Mao Zedong's "Three Character Classic" and "Hundred Family Surnames", and then taught Confucian classics such as "The Analects of Confucius", "The Book of Songs", and "Mencius". Mao Zedong studied hard and was deeply influenced by ancient culture.
