Introduction to Laosicheng: Laosicheng is located on the bank of Lingxi River about 30 miles east of Yongshun City, Yongshun County, Hunan Province. It was built in the Five Dynasties period and is a densely distributed and well-organized group of sites. Laosicheng now has ancient monuments such as the Patriarch's Hall, Tuwang Temple, Yinan Archway, and Ruoyun Academy, as well as 109 tombs of chieftains and nobles from past dynasties. It is the best-preserved Tujia cultural site in China.
