Introduction to the Surrender Memorial Hall: It is the only building in China commemorating the victory of the Anti-Japanese War. It was built in February 1946. The memorial square faces north and south, with three arches on the west pillar, built of blue bricks, painted with cement and inlaid with Yuanzhou stone. The square is engraved with inscriptions and couplets by Kuomintang military and political figures such as Jiang Zhongzheng, Li Zongren, Yu Youren, Sun Ke, He Yingqin, Bai Chongxi and others. On the back of the memorial square there is a 206-word inscription "Memorial Square of Zhijiang's Surrender".
