Introduction to the Six Temples: The second courtyard is not long in depth but very wide in width. To the east of the courtyard is the "Wenchang Hall", which connects to the eight Taoist palaces on the east side of the temple; to the west is the "Six Temples with the Same Gate", which connects to the eight Buddhist temples on the west side of the temple. The peculiar phenomenon of Taoist priests, Taoist nuns and monks and nuns living together on both sides of Nanyue Temple has formed one of the eight strange things in Nanyue, "monks and Taoists living together".
