Introduction to the nature reserve: Tikal National Park includes several types of terrain, including hills, swamps, mountains, etc. There are several sedimentary rocks that preserve geological data from the Mesozoic to the Tertiary period. The national park preserves a variety of jungle patterns ranging from swamp rainforest to mountain forest. There are many rare animals and plants in the jungle, such as: mahogany tree (Swietenia macrophylla), three-fingered sloth (Bradypus tridactylus), red macaw ( Ara maca), Micrurus diastema sapper.
