Introduction to the Tomb of King Goodae: Located 200 meters southwest of the Monument of King Goodai, the Tomb of King Goodai is the foundation of the 19th king of Goguryeo, King Goodai of Pyongyang, Guanggae. It was built in 391 AD. It is a large square altar and stepped stone chamber tomb. A large number of lotus pattern tiles and text bricks were unearthed in the tomb. There are molded inscriptions on the side of the brick, "May the mausoleum of the good king be as safe as a mountain and as solid as a mountain."
