Introduction to Jilin City Museum: Jilin City Museum was established in 1962 and was formerly the Jilin City Exhibition Hall. It is an important local comprehensive museum in Jilin Province, as well as a national science education base and a provincial patriotism education base. In 1978, it merged with Jilin Exhibition Hall and used the Jilin Exhibition Hall premises until 1996. In 1990, it co-located with the newly established Jilin Meteorite Museum. In 1996, a new museum was rebuilt on the original site and completed in 1998.
