Introduction to Shidao Port: Shidao Port is located at the easternmost tip of the Shandong Peninsula. It is an important fishing port in Shandong Province and a haven for fishing boats open to the outside world. The waters here are wide, the coastline is stable, the amount of sediment is small, and the wave protection conditions are good, making it suitable for ships to dock. Shidao Port has a long history. It was a famous fish and salt distribution center in Shandong Province in ancient times. In the late Qing Dynasty, there were two simple docks. With the continuous construction of the port, Shidao Port can now berth 500-ton ships, 800-ton merchant ships can enter the port along the tide, and freighters above 1,000 tons can only operate at anchorage. Not only that, it also has passenger ship connections with ports such as Lidao, Yantai, Qingdao, and Dalian, making it an important commercial port in Shandong Province.
