Introduction to Ding Ruchang's residence: The residence is a masonry structure, consisting of three courtyards on the left, middle and right, covering an area of about 15,000 square meters. The west courtyard is the inner apartment, the east courtyard is the residence for servants, and the middle courtyard is where Ding Ruchang works and receives guests. There are round gates connecting the middle courtyard to the east and west courtyards. Some of the household items, calligraphy and paintings used by Ding Ruchang during his lifetime are now displayed. There is a century-old wisteria in the courtyard, which was planted by Ding Ruchang himself. It still has deep roots and luxuriant leaves. On both sides of the gate are the concierges, which are now exhibition rooms introducing Ding Ruchang's life.
