Introduction to the former site of the Wuchang Uprising Military Government: The former site of the Wuchang Uprising Military Government was the site of the Hubei Consultative Bureau established in the late Qing Dynasty. It was first built in 1909 and completed in 1910 (the second year of Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty). Its main building, the Consultative Bureau Meeting House, is a two-story red building with a brick and wood structure, forming a regular courtyard. Wuhan locals are accustomed to calling it the "Red Building".
