Introduction to the Revolutionary Martyrs Monument: The monument and square of the Jute Uprising and the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Soviet Area covers an area of 3,000 square meters. The five-pointed star in the center of the square covers the entire map of Hong'an.
The monument is 27.11 meters high, commemorating the outbreak of the Jute Uprising - November 13, 1927; the name of the monument was inscribed by Comrade Hua Guofeng, then Chairman of the Party Central Committee, on April 26, 1978; both sides of the monument There are two huge bronze statues. On the left, there is an armed peasant with a sword on his back and a gong held high; on the right, a Red Army soldier holding a steel gun high and marching forward bravely, symbolizing the unity of the army and the people in the base area and their persistence in armed struggle; in front of the monument is a white marble statue. Party emblem; on both sides of the monument are the inscriptions of Dong Biwu, Ye Jianying, Xu Qianqian and Li Xiannian; on both sides of the monument base are huge reliefs, showing the heroic struggle of the people of the Soviet area in the Jute Uprising and the struggle in the Hubei-Henan-Anhui Revolutionary Base Areas, a magnificent picture of one after another.
