Introduction to Zhaoming Terrace: Located in the middle of the ancient city of Xiangyang, it was built to commemorate Xiao Tong, the prince of Liang Zhaoming in the Southern Dynasty. It is a landmark building in Xiangfan. Historical records: "The building is in the center of the county, three stories high, facing south, with bells and drums on the wings. It is a scenic spot in the square city."
Prince Zhaoming was the eldest son of Emperor Wu of Liang. He was born in Xiangyang. He compiled the "Selected Works of Zhaoming" for posterity. Zhaoming Terrace was originally named "Wenxuan Building", but was renamed "Shannan East Road Building" in the Tang Dynasty. There was a stone carving with the four characters "Shannan East Road" written in seal script by Li Yangbing of the Tang Dynasty. It was renamed "Bell and Drum Tower" in the Ming Dynasty, called Zhennan Tower during the Jiajing period, and named Zhaoming Terrace after its reconstruction in Shunzhi of the Qing Dynasty. The building faces south, with a green brick platform and a stone arch in the middle. The hole is 4.5 meters high and 3.5 meters wide. There are 5 three-eaves, two-story Xieshanshan buildings on the platform, about 15 meters high. There are 4 horizontal rooms on the east and west sides. There is a drum tower and a bell tower in Tainan. Zhaoming Terrace stands majestically in the city. It is majestic and majestic. It was known as "the first scenic spot in the city" in ancient times. During the Anti-Japanese War, Xiangyang fell and the buildings were destroyed. In the summer of 1973, it collapsed and was destroyed due to long rain. It was rebuilt on the original site in 1993. The Taiji Dungeon spans the entrance to North Street. A three-story pavilion was built on the platform in the style of the Wei and Jin Dynasties. The entire building is 34 meters high.
