Introduction to the city wall: The completely preserved city wall from the Six Dynasties period is more than 20 meters long and about 10 meters wide. It is divided into 5 layers and made of rammed earth. It is more than 1,700 years old. Although the city wall is not long, you can see the traces left by each dynasty during the Six Dynasties. This section of the city wall was the east wall of the Jiankang Palace in the Six Dynasties. It has very important academic value for studying the four boundaries and layout of the Jiankang Palace.
