Introduction to Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall: In view of the fact that the east end of Nanjing Wulongtan was once a corner of the Cao family garden, in order to commemorate Cao Xueqin, in 1985, 23 famous scholars including Kuang Yaming, Zhou Ruchang, Feng Qiyong, and Li Xifan proposed to build a statue of Cao Xueqin in Nanjing and prepare to build a Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall. To this end, Jiangsu Provincial Dream of Red Mansions Society, Nanjing Municipal Tourism Bureau and Wulongtan Park Management Office jointly completed the statue of Cao Xueqin on October 20, 1992. On this basis, preparations were made to build the Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall, which was officially opened to the public in September 1997. It mainly displays the relationship between Cao Xueqin and Nanjing.
