Introduction to the Thousand Buddhas Gallery: The Buddha statues enshrined in the 318-meter Thousand Buddhas Gallery are mainly stone Buddhas. The different sculpture dynasties can be seen from the shape. The statues in the Northern Dynasty were rough and simple, the statues in the Tang Dynasty were plump and dignified, and the statues in the Song Dynasty were plump and dignified. The old ones are elegant and beautiful; the Buddha statues here are really of different shapes, some are preaching Buddhism, and some are accepting people's wishes. These 1,300 Buddha statues from different periods, sects, and styles come from all over the country, and a small number come from overseas. They are representatives of all the Buddhas in the Buddhist world. The corridor is painted with exquisite Soviet-style paintings with different contents, telling Confucian classics and Taoist legends.
