Introduction to Xuanmiao Temple: It was once named Yuanmiao Temple (changed to Xuan due to Zhu Yuanzhang’s taboo). It is a Taoist center with a radius of hundreds of miles in the Jianghan Plain. It is also the former residence of Chen Youliang, the leader of the peasant uprising in Jingchu. This temple is located at the south gate of Miancheng, facing east and west, covering an area of ​​8,000 square meters. The Daozhengsi in the Ming and Qing dynasties has always been located here. Before 1941, it was quite large. There were Lingguan Hall, Sanshi Hall, Sanqing Hall, Leizu Hall, Luzu Hall, Doulao Hall, Suffering Hall, Guanyin Hall, Huangjing Hall and Laozu Hall. It is commonly known as "One Temple". It is known as "Guanshi Palace".
