Introduction to Dongyue Temple: Also known as Tianqi Temple, it is said to be built in memory of Huang Feihu, the great emperor of Dongyue. In February 1924, the first party group of the Communist Party of China in Mianyang County, composed of eight people including Lou Minxiu, Deng Chizhong, Xu Yansheng, etc., was secretly established in the Three Buddha Hall of Dongyue Temple, which opened the prelude to the Mianyang People's Revolution. Dongyue Temple was destroyed by war in 1941. In 1943, a main hall was rebuilt and later demolished. In 1987, the people of Miancheng voluntarily donated funds to rebuild the Dongyue Hall, Guanyin Hall and the Ten Dynasty King of Hell Hall.
