Introduction to the ancient city wall: The north and west walls of the ancient city of Liye are quite well preserved. The wall is 2 meters high and 24 meters thick at the bottom. It is built by ramming, and the slope protection on both sides of the wall is built with large pebbles. According to an analysis by archaeological experts, the city wall was built by the Chu and Qin dynasties. The first time it was a military castle was built during the Warring States Period, and it continued to take shape until the Qin and Han Dynasties. Outside the ancient city wall, there is a 6-meter-wide and 3-meter-deep moat, forming an impregnable defense pattern with a city and a pond.
