Introduction to Wugang City Wall: Wugang City Wall is located in the old city of Wugang City and was built in the Song Dynasty. The city wall at that time was made of rammed earth and was about 9 kilometers long. In the fourth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1371), Wu Liang, Marquis of Jiangyin, put down a rebellion and then focused on repairing the inner city wall of Wugang. It was built with square bluestones, 774 feet long, 2 feet high, and 8 feet wide at the top.
