Introduction to the Second Hall: The Second Hall is the earliest palace among the existing buildings in Guanlin. It has five bays and is in the style of a verandah. There is a plaque of "Guangzhao Sun and Moon" hanging on the door, which was inscribed by Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty. Under the front and rear eaves, there are mainly pictures reflecting the story of Guan Yu's bravery and prowess in battle. There is a seated statue of Guan Yu in military uniform in the hall, flanked by Zhou Cang holding a sword and Guan Ping holding a seal. There is a hard mountain-style companion hall on the left and right of the second hall, with the Zhanghou Hall on the left and the Five Tigers Hall on the right.
