Introduction to Yaowangtan: Yaowangtan is also called Yaowangtan because the shape of the pool resembles a medicine gourd. It is said that in the spring of the twelfth year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty, Sun Simiao came to Yunlu Mountain to collect medicine. Seeing the open terrain and stable water flow, he built a thatched hut with dead wood and hay on the boulders beside the pool to live. Until now, every Dragon Boat Festival morning, local people still come to this pool to get water, and go home to wash their eyes to cure eye diseases.
