Introduction to the Earth Temple: Located on the east side of the Yamen Temple, it is the Earth God in charge of Yamen County. In the Ming Dynasty, this temple was called "Pichang Temple" and was used to detain officials who had not yet been removed from their honors and to punish officials who had committed crimes. In the early Ming Dynasty, in order to consolidate the rule, a "peeling and removing grass" was set up here. That is, after the prisoners were killed, the skin and grass were peeled off and placed in the lobby to warn officials.
