Introduction to the Holy Temple: Located behind the second gate, it is a three-bay building with a rolling shed style. It was the place where students paid homage to Confucius, the founder of Confucianism. In the center of the hall is a standing statue of Confucius, the sage teacher, and on the left and right sides are the line-carved images of the four great sages Yanzi, Zisi, Zengzi and Mencius. On the west wall are biographies of 72 sages and portraits of 12 sages who were disciples of Confucius. The east gable has an introduction to the emergence, development and influence of Confucianism.
