Introduction to Zhuge Thatched Cottage: It is a newly built octagonal thatched pavilion with a pointed roof on the site of Zhuge Liang's former residence, also known as Zhuge'an. The pavilion is of brick and wood structure, with octagonal eaves, an octagonal corridor on the periphery, and the roof is covered with thatch. The "Zhuge Thatched Cottage" plaque hanging on the main entrance was handwritten by Guo Moruo in 1973, and the "Zhuge Thatched Cottage" on the inside was written by Yu Youren, the director of the Supervisory Yuan of the National Government in 1940. "Nanyang Zhuge Lu" on the back of the forehead was written by Fu Fengju, the prefect of Nanyang in the 20th year of Guangxu's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1894).
