During the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty, there was a scholar named Yang Zhixu here who had seven sons. Among them, the third son Yang Zuanxu, the sixth son Yang Fushi, and the seventh son Yang Yanshi successively passed the Jinshi examination and were selected as Shujishi to enter the Hanlin Academy.
