Introduction to Hexi Terrace: In the third year of Qiandao in the Southern Song Dynasty, Zhu Xi and Zhang Shi watched the sun on the top of Yuelu Mountain. They once built the "Hexi Terrace". Zhu Xi inscribed it on his forehead. In the Ming Dynasty, Wang Shouren wrote a poem, "Wear your clothes and go straight to the Hexi Terrace", which was later abandoned. In the fifty-fifth year of the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty, the mountain chief Luo Dian built a front pavilion in front of the courtyard and renamed it the front desk. In the first year of Daoguang, in order to preserve the historical traces, the mountain chief Ouyang Houjun changed the name of the front desk to "Hexi Terrace". On the left and right inner walls of the platform, there are two characters "Fu" and "Shou" that are more than ten feet high. The top of the platform is carved with patterns of Bagua, bats and the characters "Shou".
