Introduction to Jinggang Ancient Town: Jinggang was originally named Lujiang, also known as Weigang, where the Wei River flows into the Xiangjiang River estuary. In the fourth year of Wude, civil strife continued frequently. Emperor Gaozu Li Yuan sent General Li Jing south to quell the rebellion. Li Jing stationed troops in Lujiang. "The military order was strict, no offense was committed in the autumn, and the people were virtuous. He named the water Jinggang to keep his ambition in mind." Therefore, Lujiang was renamed Jinggang.
