Introduction to Thousand Buddha Cliff: Thousand Buddha Cliff is located in the northwest of the Shentong Temple site and is the main site for stone Buddha statues in the early Tang Dynasty. Thousand Buddha Cliff is 65 meters long from north to south. There are more than 240 existing Buddha statues and 46 inscriptions on the statues. They were built by common people in the early Tang Dynasty to pray for blessings. In more than a hundred caves of various sizes in Thousand Buddha Cliff, there are exquisitely carved Buddha statues. These Buddha statues are vivid and lifelike, with compassionate faces. They can be called treasures of Buddhist art in the Tang Dynasty in my country.
