The carved dragon columns surround the hall corridor, and the carved beams and painted buildings are magnificent; the triple cornices are majestic; the hall has tall Buddha statues and colorful paintings on the walls. In terms of architectural scale and structural art, the Main Hall of Nanhai Zen Temple exceeds the scale of the Taihe Hall of the Forbidden City and the Dacheng Hall of Confucius Mansion in Qufu, Shandong, and is known as the "No. 1 Hall in Asia."
