Introduction to the Plaque of the Prophet of Weiyu: It is said that when Qianlong went to the south of the Yangtze River, he stopped at a mosque in Zhuxian Town. When he left, the imam in the temple gave Qianlong a leather jacket and a straw hat. The weather was sunny and cloudless at that time. Qianlong was very puzzled. As he was leaving, the sky suddenly darkened and a thunderstorm broke out. These two things came in handy. Later, Emperor Qianlong ordered Ji Yun, a scholar from the university, to go to the Zhuxian Town Mosque to inquire. When he learned about the efficacy of the strange stone, he wrote "The Prophet Before Rain" and hung it here on a plaque. The original plaque was destroyed during the "Cultural Revolution" and was later rewritten by Niu Guangfu, a famous contemporary calligrapher.
