Introduction to the courtyard architecture: The three courtyards of the Memorial Hall of the Eighth Route Army Office in Luoyang were all built in the 11th year of Daoguang's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1831). Each courtyard is divided into three entrances, with a street-facing room in the front, one and two halls in the middle, and one in the back. There is an aisle next to the upper room, and two-story wing rooms are symmetrically built on both sides of the courtyard. The doors and windows are decorated with carved patterns, mainly including traditional flower patterns such as plum, bamboo, orchid, chrysanthemum, peony, pine and cypress, as well as mythical figures and legends. The carvings are delicate and lifelike. The entire building is elegant and antique, with high architectural level and artistic appreciation value.
