Introduction to Foye Temple: Behind the thousand-year-old tree, there is a thousand-year-old temple, known as "Foye Temple", also known as "Elder's Temple", and the remaining monument records it as "Longquan Temple". This temple was built during the Southern and Northern Dynasties as the lower courtyard of Shaolin. According to the inscription, this temple is a branch of Zen Buddhism, which has been confirmed by the abbot of Shaolin Temple. The temple is located where Jiudao Ridge gathers together. It is surrounded by mountains on three sides: left, middle and right. There is a flat pier below, which looks like a confession. Surrounded by two streams on the east and west sides, it is a Buddhist holy land with graceful bells and graceful surroundings. Every year on the sixth day of the third month of the lunar calendar, many mountain people from Yuzhou, Ruzhou and Dengfeng come here to worship and pray for blessings and peace. It is extremely lively, which is a reflection of "Trees are born from temples, and temples are born from tree spirits".
