Memorial study introduction: Zhang Jian had a hard life, and he was still fighting on the front line until he fell ill and died. After his death, the Republic of China government awarded him the Golden Harvest Medal in 1912; in 1915, he won the Honorary Award at the Panama International Exposition in the United States. In 1922, he was awarded the first-class Baoguang Jiahe Medal with a large ribbon by the government of the Republic of China. This is to commemorate this great Chinese industrialist and educator.
