Introduction to the Yao ethnic group: The Yao ethnic group is known as the "Oriental Gypsies". It currently has a population of 3 million and is scattered throughout the country and abroad. During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the Yao ancestors migrated to the "Water Margin of Jianghan". Later, suffering from natural disasters and wars, they moved south to Longjiao Mountain, leaving behind a large number of ancestor sites.
