Introduction to Shigu Academy: Shigu Academy was founded in the fifth year of Yuanhe in the Tang Dynasty (AD 810). Li Kuan, a scholar of the Tang Dynasty, followed in the footsteps of Li Mi and came to Nanyue. He saw the lush forests of Shigu Mountain, the Xiangjiang River, Zhanshui River, Surrounded by the Lei River and three rivers, a hut was built on top of it to study, and the earliest academy in ancient China was established, which is the beginning of the Shigu Academy. In July 1944, Shigu Academy was destroyed by Japanese artillery fire during the defense battle of Hengyang. In 2006, the Hengyang Municipal People's Government restored the Qing Dynasty pattern and rebuilt Shigu Academy.
