Introduction to stone carvings: There are 52 ancient stone carvings preserved in Ciyun Temple, including 22 from the Ming Dynasty and 30 from the Qing Dynasty. The rich and precious content of the inscriptions records the history of the development of Buddhism and confirms that the eminent monks She Moteng and Zhu Falan of Tianzhu Lan came to Qinglong Mountain to select sites to build temples and engage in Buddhist activities more than 1,900 years ago.
