Scenic spot introduction:

Guxiang Lake is a section of the Parlong Zangbo River, the mother river of Bomi. It was formed by the eruption of the Xionglugeni glacier in the back mountain of Guxiang, which caused a huge mudslide from Kagong Nongba to block the Parlong Zangbo River and formed a barrier lake. It is one of the famous freshwater lakes in southeastern Tibet. Guxiang Ancient Village is located in the west of Bomi County, 33 kilometers away from Bomi County and 210 kilometers away from Nyingchi Prefecture. The lake is 2,600 meters above sea level, 5 kilometers long, 2 kilometers wide at the widest point, more than 20 meters deep at the deepest point, and covers an area of 20,000 square meters. There is a small island in the lake with an area of more than 1,000 square meters. The lake is located on National Highway 318, with convenient transportation and is a natural park.
