Tianjin Baxianshan National Nature Reserve is known as the "Xishuangbanna" of northern China and enjoys the reputation of "the first mountain in Tianjin". It is the most typical representative scenic spot of the National Geopark - Peak Forest Canyon Scenic Area. Not only is the forest ecological environment here excellent, various forests are well developed and growing luxuriantly, but also there are many kinds of vines, especially the unique natural deciduous broad-leaved forest ecosystem, which is rare not only in North China, but also in the world at the same latitude. Tianjin Baxianshan National Nature Reserve is located 30 kilometers northeast of Jixian County, covering a total area of 5,360 hectares, with a forest coverage rate of over 95%. Tour Route A: Mountain Gate → Plank Road → Cable Bridge → Natural Secondary Forest → Science Training Center, about 1 hour walk (one way); you can see the crocodile head, stone Fall , Ten Thousand Volumes of Heavenly Books, Ladder , a line of sky, golden turtle looking at the Big Dipper, plank road, Yulongtan, iron chain bridge, and natural secondary forest.

How to get there:
Bus: Take bus No. 675, 681, 27 or 1 and pass Hebei Bus Station. Get off at the Engineering School and walk about 50 meters. There are buses heading to Jixian County, with one bus every eight minutes. When you arrive in Jixian County, take a taxi to Baxian Mountain.
Self-driving: You can drive along Bangxi Highway eastward to Mashen Bridge, and then drive westward along Maying Road to reach the destination; or you can drive along Jinwei Highway northward from Xiaying Town eastward along Maying Road through Xiaogang Township to reach the destination.
