Introduction to the Jade Emperor Hall: The Jade Emperor Hall is also five rooms wide and is the main hall of the Taoist temple. The plaque "Golden Palace and Jade Capital" hangs directly above the palace door, with couplets on both sides. There are eight characters on the front and back of the eaves: "The weather is smooth, the country is peaceful and the people are safe."
