Introduction to Baidang Lingge: Baidang has been rich in Baidang since ancient times. The water chestnut is in the shape of wontons, has a thin shell and white flesh, and is sweet and tender in the mouth. It has enjoyed a high reputation since the Qing Dynasty. "Hushu Pass Chronicles" of the Qing Dynasty says: "The people here grow water chestnuts as their occupation, and the name Bailing comes from this." In the season of picking water chestnuts, the Baidang River is emerald green, and girls sit in bathtubs, walking slowly in the waves of water chestnuts, turning over leaves to pick water chestnuts. The joy was beyond words, and I couldn't help but sing Wu songs. The songs kept coming and going, and the whole Baidang was filled with feelings of joy for the harvest. This scene was hailed as the "Baidang Ling Song" by old-time literati, and was one of the eight chants at Hushuguan in the Qing Dynasty.
