"The Stele Inscription of Mingyue Bay Xiuzhi Street Port" is 65 cm wide, 150 cm high, 16 lines, official script, made of bluestone. It was publicized by the people of Mingyue Bay in the 37th year of Qianlong's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1772). The stele originally existed on the east side of Mingyue Bay. Inside Mingyue Temple. It mainly records the comprehensive renovation of streets, river ports and other public facilities in Mingyue Bay that year. It is one of the precious historical relics preserved in Mingyue Bay. The monument "Mingyue Bay Ancient Village Protection and Improvement Stele" is 65 cm wide, 150 cm high, 14 lines, main script, made of bluestone. It was established in 2006 by the Xishan Town Ancient Village Protection and Improvement Leading Group. The inscription was written by Mr. Wang Renyu, an ancient village protection expert and former director of the Suzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Management Committee, and the text was inscribed by Mr. Hu Bolin, a calligrapher from Xishan. It mainly records the protection and renovation of the ancient village of Mingyue Bay in recent years.
