Introduction to Shangxian Hall: The third Shangxian Hall is a rare Ming-style nanmu hall in Suzhou. It has a history of more than 400 years. The wooden foundation is made of stone, elegant and simple; the straight nanmu columns are round and soft; the carvings are simple and clear. The colors are light and sober, with practical and aesthetic functions. The name of the hall was written by Mr. Shen Peng, the former chairman of the National Calligraphers Association.
