Introduction to Mingyue Slope: Mingyue Slope is a large marble slab, as flat as a stone, with a slope of 15 degrees from the ground, and an area of about 5,600 square meters. According to the historical book "Suzhou Prefecture Chronicles", King Wu's husband brought Xi Shi here to admire the moon, so it was called Mingyue Slope. According to geologists' research, the slate bedrock is composed of limestone from the Chuanshan Formation of the Upper Late Carboniferous, and the age of the rock is about 300 million years ago.
