Introduction to São Tomé Cathedral: São Tomé Cathedral (Gothic Cathedral) is a Mdhar style building built by Arabs living in Toledo in the 14th century. It is home to the famous painting of Gregor - Known as "The Burial of Count Orgaz". This painting was painted in 1586 by Torrego, the priest of Santo Tome Church, to commemorate Count Orgas, a Toledo nobleman who had been dead for 200 years and had donated large sums of money to various churches.
